Style on a Budget… $12.99 TJMaxx Blouse

Hello Mamas,

I recently took inventory of my closet in preparation for Trust In Tricia’s Style Swap Party to benefit Project Hope. My post on that fun night to follow as I am awaiting pictures.  As I decided what I wanted to swap from my wardrobe I did notice a few basic pieces that needed some updates.  As I made my weekly trip to TJMaxx I narrowed down my search to blouses.  I often hear from women that they become overwhelmed when they enter that type of store my advice would be to have a plan.

Blouses have been a big trend since the spring and continue to be one for fall. They are feminine, flattering, the perfect contrast to a jean or a pair of leather leggings or skirt.  I hit the jackpot that day when I found this poka dot sheer blouse for only $12.99.

It Looks so chic with my high waisted wide leg denim, I bit the bullet and invested in these jeans 2 years ago. So happy I did.

My daughter made me promise I would add this “behind the scenes photo” lol! She is my artistic director as well as photographer.

As I was walking out of TJMaxx this Vivienne Tam color block skirt caught my eye $24.99, back to the fitting room to try it on with the blouse. Do you believe in fate?

Such a cute outfit for work, parties, date night, so versatile I had a hard time talking myself into it. giggle!
